This post is part of the Stay Fit on the Road series. There’s nothing harder than trying to stay in shape while traveling around the world. Who wants to care about that extra plate of pasta you want to eat in Italy or that tacos in Mexico? You just want to taste what’s around you and even if you might walk a lot, it’s not always enough. Especially for digital nomads like Chris and I. Even though we live in exotic locations, the majority of our time is spent in front of the computer, trying to make a living. That’s …
Stay fit on the road: Run for a cause
Coming back home: Québec
The ten days we spent on Chris’ farm in Regina went by very fast. Too soon, we were hoping on a plane again, this time to my house in Québec. If you’ve never been there, it’s definitely a place to visit. I love this city so much, mostly because of how pretty it is. Between the walls of the Old City, history was made and that’s what I love about this place. Everything around you has been there for centuries already (well, almost everything). Ready to leave
Everything is packed, we’re ready to go! Tomorrow we’ll be in Costa Rica for the beginning of an incredible journey. It was nice Quebec, but it is just not working anymore. No, there is not someone else. OK FINE! There is someone else. We are leaving you for Costa Rica. She is beautiful and warm. Not like you. You’ve been getting colder toward us all month and we just can’t take it anymore. GOODBYE! We’ll see you when you’re ready to talk (or just a bit warmer!)
Hockey Night!
Because this is Canada, we had to go to a hockey night. Because this is Quebec City, we had to go see the Remparts. It might not be the NHL, but it’s still pretty awesome. Tickets are usually only $15 each, so it’s a cheap night out 🙂 Almost cheaper than going for a movie! And it’s much more entertaining in my opinion. MUST DO!
Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier
Fall is beautiful and we wanted to spend some time outside. I invited my family to go hiking in this gorgeous national park 45 minutes outsides of the city, the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier. We went for a guided tour in “caves” which happened to be rocks fallen on top of each other instead of a hole in the mountain. WE HAD FUN! 😀
