The Guacamole you Need in your Life

We just can’t get enough of the fresh food here! An other thing that we simply just love is guacamole! There’s nothing better to eat as a snack than this mix of avocados and tomatoes. I’ve never been a fan of it until we came here. We first tried it in a restaurant and fell in love with it. Since them, we’ve been making our own every week.

Our ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 big tomato
  • Half of a small onions
  • A little bit of garlic (you have to do it grandma style, where you just put as much as you feel it needs!)
  • Some salt (I sprinkle for something like 5 seconds, but our salt thingy isn’t very fast.)
  • Some lime juice (I put two squeezes. I don’t know how much that is!)

How to make it, now!

So first of all, you can to put the avocados in a bowl and mash it. Don’t mash too much, having some texture is cool too! (I mashed weirdly that time that I took the pictures). After, just add the tomato, onion, garlic, salt and lime juice and mix! Again, don’t mix too much, you don’t want to liquefy everything!

Once that’s done, ENJOY!

We eat it with those cool local Rumba chips! They are actually much better than those tortillas we have in Canada. I think why that is is because the Rumba’s have a BBQ flavor added to them! They’re salty, which makes it better 🙂

And we just eat it SO FAST! Because it’s too yummy.
