Baldi Hot Springs

In Arenal by Virginie0 Comments

We decided to visit a little bit of Costa Rica this weekend and be tourists for once. First place we stopped was La Fortuna/Arenal. We arrived there at 4 pm and had nothing to do on that first day, so we decided to visit the hot springs. I was expecting a few pools, like what you would find in a spa in Canada. Nope. That’s not what it was. Baldi was actually a gigantic resort with slides, pools from 110F to 60F, very expensive lockers and average food. We actually had a great time there, after being on a shuttle for 6 hours, relaxing in hot water was great! Since we’re Canadian, though, we ended up hanging out in the cool pool at 60F. You know, because that’s how hot our pools/lake are…

If you’re wondering what it looks like, here’s their website: BALDI HOT SPRINGS
